The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 今年颁奖季里唯一用对了黑白影像的电影，视觉层面在努力挣脱已经乏善可陈的文本，这大概是仅有的亮点，剩下大段大段的念白配上舞台剧的风格就只能狂翻白眼……
有些低于预期，更像是配上绝美画面的剧本围读。
虽然是改编自莎翁经典著作，但与其说是一部电影，不如说是一部电影画面下的舞台剧，唯一亮点就是黑白画风和摄影（估计能拿奖），故事冗长老套乏味，台词也是各种碎碎念，让人看的昏昏欲睡，连奥斯卡老学究们都没给个什么有份量的提名，更别说普通观众会有多喜欢，唯独的影帝提名在本届众多优秀种子选手面前也显得黯淡无光。两星吧，不推荐。
表现主义&极简风格。
摄影，光影运用，表演，均是顶级，但整合在一起却并没有那么合理。
在大荧幕看4:3的黑白电影，十分魔幻。全片简直像把舞台剧拍成电影，摄影很美，黑与白之间的层次感把握得好，构图出彩。然而对白基本上没听懂，文言文一样，完全没想到这么艰涩。
总的来说，该片舞台剧不像舞台剧，电影不像电影。

删繁就简，打造了神秘的史诗，黑白影像展现了光影艺术。丹泽尔与科恩嫂都不错，唯独故事弱了点。
这电影估计会在表演和摄影或者美术上拿奥奖提名。
摄影棚拍摄的黑白场面缺乏现代华丽的装饰和色彩，但这些单调的场景仍然成功地传递了令人难忘的视觉效果。但在主题上，期待乔尔科恩重塑经典的想法可能会落空，因为它实在是太过循规蹈矩了，虽然我依旧能从中吸取极大的快感，但是，怎么2021年了，还有人，还是这么牛的一群人，还要来原封不动地来重拍麦克白？或许只能理解为一个编剧对莎士比亚火种传承的热血吧。
仿佛看了一个舞台剧，黑白片也不显得沉闷。喜欢配乐，另外表白弗兰西斯·麦克多蒙德，如果不是三封了，也许阿姨还能再来一个奥提
舞台劇的獨白，雖是黑白但是每幀都能感受到畫面帶來的鮮明感！每位演員的演技可以說是相當在線，整個佈景也是相當了得。
莎士比亚的话剧对白 配上乔治德基里科似的画面，体验非常奇妙
演员表是否暗示了old man是witches的伪装/幻象？
