恐怖的控制力，犹如审讯时被“强迫”集中着注意力，威慑感充盈整个电影。思维被吸入影像，裂开成算牌与书写的双重知觉，而后又消融在某个道德阴影下的冲动时刻。类型主题也不再提供刺激感，它被理智的自我鞭笞所替代，正如未来被过去的罪感殖民，噩梦暴露出原始的恐怖，只好像清教徒般书写罪状。
