The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 太美式温情了。作为音乐剧，里面的歌曲太少，除了Me and the Sky，没有拿得出手的...
9·11过去了20年
这部舞台剧层次非常丰富，大到人道主义，小到个人友情、爱情；从种族问题讲到女性、LGBT群体的社会接纳；有生离死别，也有相遇重逢。正如剧中所唱，一些东西失去了，另一些被建立起来了。
音乐剧+人性美总是治愈任何不开心的良药。女机长的嗓音出乎我意料，我以为会是沙哑烟嗓，结果是那么高亢清晰的声音。我想说me and sky我也可以听101遍。
它在有限的演员身上安放两三个角色，配合简单的道具，从而塑造不同的群像，搭建出丰富的场景，但又并不让观众觉得混乱，很多简单的转场效果极佳。
放在broadway里，实在是比较平庸的剧，不是很理解为什么是must see级别，应该是大部分美国人能对故事背景共情？典型的美式煽情和笑点，除了音乐和演员唱功比较有印象，其他看完真的有想退票的冲动。
好爱这个世界啊！爱人们的善意，慷慨，微笑，爱小酒馆里手拉手载歌载舞的喧闹，小岛上的温情小调让人对纽芬兰小镇满怀憧憬，灾难面前用光照出一片大美。
被故事打动，在这个世界日渐隔绝的时候，这样一个基于真实故事展现人性之美的音乐剧真太棒了。不论来自于哪个国家，文化，宗教，这一刻我们都是islander
