The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. As much as I love Ben Platt, he's grown too old for this role. 他在舞台上的靈氣與美麗在大熒幕上消失殆盡，儘管歌聲再動人，使用用捲髮來裝年輕只凸顯出他的疲態而不是稚氣。Choreography and blocking are awful. The whole crowd in the gym during the opening number is a total disaster. Most of the casts are great, but Zoe could not deliver. And can we talk about why they cut "To break in the Glove?"

虽然影视化的效果有点可惜，不过也仍是一个值得大小朋友关注的好故事
一场盛大的SNS鸡汤performance。。。
是少有的让我能有这么强的代入感的剧情。妈妈的独白，让我想到了陪伴。记得有一次做梦梦到我妈。我在远处看到她的时候，立刻展开笑容，大声喊了一句“妈！”然后冲过去抱着她，大声说着“我好想你！”话音刚落我就醒了，眼角带着泪。后来打电话给我妈告诉她这个事情，她说她会一直在，随时打个视频就能看到了，不要害怕。
看了一半看不下去了……音乐衔接很突兀 有点尴尬 决定还是再看一遍原版吧
因为内在原因，DEH真是我最最能从个人角度去共鸣的音乐剧了，音乐的出色是它的灵魂，使得影版都无法割舍，甚至在这里，开头的Waving through a window有让我欣喜，For forever让我直接哭了出来，Requiem我从音乐剧喜欢到电影，而You will be found，是我永恒的软肋，一听就泣不成声。
删掉了Anyone那首和父亲的自白曲，总觉得缺了点什么
有几首很喜欢的歌被删了，有点遗憾但也能理解。第三幕康纳的那首新歌加得很棒，没有试图解释太多或想让人一下就理解他，但提供了一个能窥见康纳另一面的机会。这既给了康纳家人和埃文些许安慰，也给了观众一个情绪出口。
结尾疲软了，但不足以影响我在这个故事体验过的感动和反思。另，Ben Platt 诚然是大了，但绝不至于很违和；假使你连CW那种选角都看得下去，就更没理由从这个角度吐槽。
看完这个后我怒去刷了几遍模糊的现场版来平复心情。
Ben！能唱会演！但是不知道为什么感觉这部电影有点限制小本发挥，可能这部音乐剧真的不适合电影屏幕

前面情感铺垫不够，感觉有点生硬，整个剧情又太长没有必要.不过居然还惊现校友哈哈哈哈
