The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 太震撼了！真的太震撼了！长津湖绝对是今年电影的王炸！！三个小时一下子过去了一点也不夸张，绝对的全程无尿点！易烊千玺的新兵蛋子成长线太有意思了！太成功了，看完一个小时了我还没缓过来，反正就是长津湖牛逼！
很丰满的片子，至少不会开头就猜到结局，也不会觉得装，故事满完整，人物满有趣，「致敬」了很多外国悬疑电影和日本推理思路，但不突兀。虽然太长的回忆有拖沓的感觉，但内容信息塞得满满的，而且多个地方的伏笔可以多种解释，给了二次观看的乐趣——PS：为啥现在好电影都有浓浓的话剧感？强行多给点星。
战争是残酷的，希望世界和平，但内心的小我在说美国人日本人英国人不配
反转致敬还是有意思的，隐喻也埋的不错，中国还是有用心对待电影的主创。票房黑马实至名归，但终究还是无聊了点。
制作水准肯定是有的，但是我觉得真的不需要这么多的大范围移动的镜头。有的情节全都是大范围移动的镜头连屏幕内容都看不出来是什么。本来电影就只有24帧，而且我本人对帧率也不算敏感，但是镜头又卡又难受。看三小时的电影不累，但是看这个真的很累。
长津湖确实是长了点，希望未来水门桥不要太水。
我们活在他们希望的未来里，有什么理由不珍惜？
16'斧头砍门致敬了《闪灵》
把美军戏份大幅删减，把文戏控制紧凑，把高潮留给冻死在战场的烈士，这部戏可以剪得更好的。
先看1950他们正年轻，再看长津湖，一边是听觉上听老兵们谈抗美援朝，一边是视觉上重现他们的过往，不得不说，都是非常非常值得观看的电影。
3.5/这样的剧本杀电影意想不到的好看，剧本上虽说不够精巧，也有会让观众诟病之处，但是悬疑转折起伏够足，合理化运用了剧本杀里的悬疑和惊悚元素，引导观众往深层次的社会现象去思考，再加上许多的影迷以及影视圈梗，导演可谓是真诚用心的拍这部电影。演员方面很期待邓家佳，虽然没有什么人物弧光，相对来说也是一个花瓶，但在主题的表达上确实起到了不可或缺的作用，虽然不很好，但是还是支持她。就跟这个故事要讲述的内容把不能说的故事拍成了电影一样，我们所看到的是不是也是社会中不可言说的问题和现状，是可以去深思的。其具有的社会讽刺和暗喻在当今大陆电影环境中是难能可贵的。意外收获了今年观影体验尚可的国产电影。
编剧这角色有监制韩寒的影子，台词也映射了一些现在（不一定能被看明白）。有局中局，环套不够深，表演一般，算是近几年比较好的华语悬疑片了。【同为监制的我 惭愧啊】

很有新意的一部悬疑喜剧片，虽说存在一些小问题，但可挖掘的地方也有不少，值得二刷。

连工业水准也很差。全片有一个好镜头，打开车门，对面的火车驶过，后面是长城，超越本身叙事的美感
家里老人参加过抗美援朝，小时候就常听那时候的故事，听说拍了相关的电影，一直很期待，趁着假期去贡献了一下票房，整场看下来，说实话有点失望，篇幅真的太长了，看下来好累，关键剧情撑不起来这个时长，衔接的不够好，可能是我期望太高了吧。
这拍的是动作片…美军除了空军，陆军就是屑。无语，真当抗美神剧在拍。不少画面甚至没制作完成，色调都没统一。战争场面又多又长。完全没有轻重设计。中国就没导演会拍战争戏吗？再，北方人演南方人能不能认真点，一口北方强调不说行为也完全看不出南方人
这么把圈里圈外的各种乱象讽刺一遍，也是很敢拍了。前面有点浮夸，后面几处反转不错。
这个剧本实在太精彩了！从一开始就充满各种戏剧冲突，从写剧本中去查案，又从查案中不断改写剧本，而真相却在电影拍出来之后才出现，而出现后却又无法拍这个真相！各种隐喻和结合现实的借意吐槽太神了！那是南京啊！！灭火人！！虽然我拍烂片但我是个艺术家！把好多业界不能说的东西，现实不能聊的事情，全部借意说出来了，好解气啊！！！！
