The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 喜欢西部片这个类型。同样，也喜欢武侠片这个类型。《老亨利》是正宗的西部片味道，但又不让人觉得老套、陈旧，视觉语言上是有新的表现的。那么，武侠片还能拍出新意吗？我觉得是可以的，但必须脱离金庸、古龙的故事模式，毕竟，古代中国的想象空间还是很大的。
后现代西部片，细腻、苍凉。比利小子依然神一般存在。
西部版《我和我的家乡》+《我和我的父辈》。一个女性角色都没有。就是稳准狠，把西部片最吸引男性观众的元素全部提炼了出来，也顺便把女性观众和娘炮踢的远远的。
人類很矛盾又遲鈍；到父親過世後你才曉得：他的嚴厲是對你的愛。

西部，不同故事的主角，各个是传奇。风光无限好，故事很简单。当一个来路不明，带了一兜子钱，受伤的家伙出现在你家附近时，厄运离你不远了，更何况你还救了他，这就是西部。我觉得还挺好看的，喜欢西部面对面开枪对决，比的就是手法和速度！

镜头，片尾的背景弦乐不错，虽然是寻常的西部题材，但最后老
老爹传奇暴力史，宿命结局悼孤胆。
任何时候，一板一眼讲故事的平实电影都不会太差。任何时候，技巧都替代不了刷情。西风热烈马蹄疾，远去的是背影，不逝的是灵魂。
制作精良，剧情薄弱，细节欠缺，很传统的西部片

联想自己：当遇到这种坑货，到底该不该救？答案是别救，钱也别拿，少管闲事。毕竟那么大片林子，就住两户人，屁股想想就知道可能是谁拿走了钱。活着才是最重要的！！！
好像短片一样，老套的剧情正着说就是朴实，前半小时就在想他儿子什么时候死，看到最后我确信就他儿子这两下子和脾气活不过一个月
传奇英雄，永恒话题，以一敌十的个人英雄主义。画面唯美，摄影感人。
