The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 没有宏大华美的布景，演员们都要分饰几角，所以舞台场景与角色转换做得相当精巧娴熟。基督徒、犹太教徒和牧斯林同时用各自旋律祈祷和声那段太动听了，还有回程时乘客过安检的慢镜头表演也是神来之笔。最后看到演员与真实人物的合影也非常感动
但转折的有些过于简单
最后的几分钟有点意思。高端鸭。我更希望这一切都是男主预料之中的，包括争吵以及和他弟弟坦白并告诉女主，目的就是引起女主的共鸣而最后达到高潮。这或许也是他热爱这份工作的成就感。

很感动！开始感觉可能有点闹腾，而且因为每个演员都担任了好几个角色，会有点错位的诧异感。不过最后那种厚重感和爱的传递的正能量还是传达到了，尤其是从那些人起飞离开后开始，那种怅然若失，挺戳人的。

欲求、矛盾、焦虑、满足，各种内心在艾玛汤普森的脸上得到十足的呈现，如果说里奥是一只好鸭，那么艾玛是一个好演员。
